Controller of Examinations

Objectives
        The main objective of the Examination Committee is to take care of the process of conducting Summative examinations as per schedule and evaluation process with utmost confidentiality. The committee also aims at addressing the students’ grievances related to examination process promptly.
Functions
  • To schedule the Summative Theory and Practical Examinations for all the programmes offered in the College.
  • To prepare Time Table for the above-mentioned examinations in advance and inform the students about the same.
  • To allot the exam halls for all the examinations conducted in the College.
  • To ensure that all the question papers are prepared well in advance.
  • To collect all the answer scripts and the supporting documents required.
  • To arrange for External Valuation of Exams.
  • To publish the Examination results on time.
  • To address the grievances/ complaints of the students and staff concerning exam-related issues.
  • To keep record of each issue related to the examination.
  • To organize workshops and seminars for the improvement of the examination system.

Rules and Regulations


  • A candidate entering the examination hall must possess hall-ticket and identity card issued by the authorities concerned.
  • Candidates have to occupy their allotted seats 10 minutes before the commencement of examination and will not be permitted after the commencement of the examination. In case of valid reasons, candidates will be permitted to write the examination by the Controller of Examinations. However, no candidate will be entertained to sit for the exam after 30 minutes from the commencement of the same.
  • Candidates are permitted to use only non-programmable calculators.
  • Candidates are prohibited from carrying any textual material, printed or written, bits of papers, cell phone, smart watch and any such Communication instruments inside the examination hall. Possession of such materials including Cell phones will be considered as Malpractice.
  • Candidates should not detach any sheet from the main answer book or smuggle out additional sheet or main book.
  • Candidates should handover the answer books personally to the Hall superintendent, before leaving the examination hall.
  • Candidates should not write their Register number anywhere else (except in the specified space) on the first page of Answer Book. Writing the name or making any appeal to the examiner or writing the internal assessment marks or writing the register number in the additional sheets or any other identifiable marking will be treated as an attempt to influence the examiner. Hence, any such act will lead to disciplinary action.
  • The students who indulge in any malpractice while writing examination will be immediately referred to the Chief Superintendent for the appropriate disciplinary actions.

Academic Verification


        The agencies, which are requesting the verification of educational qualifications of students of our college who opt for higher studies / employment, shall pay a fee of Rs.500/-(Rupees five hundred) for each verification, in the below mentioned Bank account. The scanned copy of the Consolidated Mark Statement and fee paid details shall be sent by the agencies to the e-mail id: officevvvc2014@gmail.com
