House System


        House System in our college functions effectively with four vibrant houses. All the students are divided into four houses namely Sahana (Pink), Ranjani (Green), Sindhu (Blue), Kalyani (Yellow). Each house is headed by one Staff coordinator, Student representatives as President, vice-President, Sports Captain and Sports vice-Captain. Students compete in academic, Sports and Cultural activities at intracollegiate level and house that performs well is appreciated at the end of academic year. House system inculcates leadership, team spirit and sportsmanship among the students. House System provides opportunities to interact with students of different age group and different cultural background. House system influences students positively and gives society a responsible individual of integrity.

Institution's Innovation Council


         Institution's Innovation Council was launched by Ministry of Education (MoE) to systematically foster the culture of innovation and start-up ecosystem in higher educational institutions. In line with that, IIC was established in our institution in 2018 so as to inculcate and promote entrepreneurship by organising entrepreneurship training and skill development activities.
        Many activities as suggested by IIC of MoE are being conducted in the institution, which will help spread awareness, impart motivation, undergo training in workshops and encourage idea development for new business.
Objectives
  • To organise training programmes to students in the topics of Innovation, IPR and Entrepreneurship-related activities.
  • To encourage and support ideation, prototype development, networking for hand-holding support, idea validation, incubation and all related activities for launch of new business.

Road Safety Club


        In the academic year 2019 - 2020, the Road Safety Club of our college was established. The goal of the club is to create awareness about road safety measures among students at the college. Students who learn about various aspects of road safety are expected to make others aware of the importance of road safety so that the message can be spread in all walks of life. Road Safety Week is celebrated at the College every year. Awareness programme was organized regarding various aspects of road safety rules and the importance of road safety explained to them in detail. Additionally, rallies were organized within the campus and slogans were raised on the importance of road safety to make other students aware of the rules of the road.

Objectives
  • To make the students understand about road safety, traffic rules, and regulations.
  • To raise awareness among students about difficulties and problems arising as a result of road accidents.
  • To involve students in a safe roads, speed, drive, and vehicle safety program based on action-based learning methods.
  • To educate and engage students on road safety so that they can be messengers of society.
